1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?
Sang Karoake by myself, Gambled on Slot Machines, Reading Names at Graduation...

2. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My cousin had little Gracie, Other cousins had other kids

3. Did anyone close to you die?
No Knock on wood

4. What countries did you visit?
Sunny Mexico

5. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
I am grateful for what I have right now.

6. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
The last week of August when so much changed  

7. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I got an A in my Science Class

8. What was your biggest failure?

Nothing is ever truly a failure.  It is more like a trial run for the real thing.

9. Did you suffer illness or injury?

A Cold in November and that is about it.

10. What was the best thing you bought?

I can't think of anything

House

14. Compared to this time last year, are you:

i. Happier or sadder?  Happier, love does wonders

ii. Lighter or Heavier? Heavier but back on Weight Watchers I go

iii. richer or poorer? The same.  I have money in the bank but my house has lost a bit of value as many people would say

15. What do you wish you’d done more of?

Can't think of anything, maybe scrapbooking and writing.
 

16. What do you wish you’d done less of?

Nothing

17. How will you be spending Christmas?

I will be spending it with my parents and brother and grandmother at their home. 

18. What was your favorite TV program?

24, Numbers, CSI,  Samantha Who, AMW, Cold Case, Heroes, there is so much I rush home for nowadays.
 

19. What was the best book you read?

I re read some childhood favorites of Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz.

20. What was your greatest musical discovery?

Not I can think of.

21. What did you want and get?

I wanted to pass my Science Class, go to Las Vegas, be successful at my job, and I feel I did all of this!

22. What was your favorite film of this year?

I really liked Sex and The City, Juno, Indiana Jones, X Files, Atonement, Burn After Reading, Iron Man!

23. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

I was 34 and my friends tried to take me to the Ingrid Michaelson the Friday before.  However, it was sold out.  On the actual day, I spent the day working in my pajamas .

24. What kept you sane?

Working.  Constantly working, the peace of my home, and Laird.

25. What made you crazy?

School

26. Where did you ring in 2008? 

At home, single, sick and in bed.

27.  What was your status by Valentine’s Day?

Presenting in my PE class.

28. Were you in school (anytime this year)?

Working in one and taking classes at another.

29. How did you earn your keep?

The two jobs, Target and Registrar.  12 years at Target and 7 years at Westwood.

30. Did you have to go to the hospital?

Not once.  Knock on Wood.

31. Did you encounter the police?

Other than at work, not that I recall

32. Where did you go on vacation?

I went to Cabo San Lucas with Sonya in April. Then Las Vegas with Tracey, Meghann and Beth.  These trips were fun. 

33. What did you purchase that was over $500?

No major purchases this year.

34. Did you know anybody who got married?

I went to the wedding of a co-workers  in June

35. Have you run into anybody you graduated high school with?

All the time.

36. Did you move anywhere?

No. I am pretty stationary.

37. What sporting events did you go to?

Other than my niece's soccer games, no sporting events were on my calendar

38. What concerts did you go to?

I won tickets to Santana through KBCO's Select-A-Set Weekend in September.  Counting Crows were here the following weekend with Augustana and Marroon 5.  I almost saw Ingrid Michaelson if the tickets had not sold out a half hour earlier.  One of the more impressive concerts though was my niece's school choir concert at the local high school.

Of course

Hell Yes!

41.  Where do you live now?

My house, mine all mine (and my brother's and the mortgage company's)

Sang Karaoke

Je ne rien regret ( I have no regrets)

My heart could open up agai, full and wide
